I'd like to see the Power Girl series have a serious side with some occasional humor, not just be entirely slap-stick. I agree her work has gotten better, and she can do expressions very well, but it's still a little too cartoony for me. Despite it all, I still have high hopes for the series.Keithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00728266385544018172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5222087808479674101.post-75642407970343512092009-04-04T14:09:00.000-04:002009-04-04T14:09:00.000-04:00I didn't make the connection that Gray and Palmiot...I didn't make the connection that Gray and Palmiotti also did Jonah Hex until you brought it up! Thanks. I've been trying to be careful with my purchases, but this will definitely be on my list now.

I have to disagree with you on Conner though. The Pro was done in a cartoony style, but it was also one of Garth Ennis' parodies of superheroes. I like Conner's art because it's very expressive, like the work she did on JSA Classifed with Power Girl. This preview only showed to me how much tighter her work has become since then.

Adam Hughes is a good artist, too, though!Danehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01628656388274931787noreply@blogger.com
