DEFENDOR

The trailer for the upcoming film, Defendor, starring Woody Harrelson was released today. Defendor is the story of Arthur Poppington (Harrelson) who believes he's a superhero and wears a costume made of sweat pants and duct tape. His weapons are marbles and lime juice. He's after Captain Industry, a drug dealer and criminal mastermind who may or not exist. Along the way, he befriends a young prostitute played by Kat Dennings. But before he can take down Captain Industry, he must convince his court-appointed psychiatrist Dr. Park (Sandra Oh) that he's sane enough to be on the streets.

The trailer looks great and the movie looks totally different than I imagined from early reports. Woody Harrelson plays the character dark and realistic. A delusional would-be superhero wearing hockey gear and duct tape costume with only kindness as a superpower? Count me in.
