I love learning about the West and how early pioneers expanded our country, facing dangers and very often, death. PhotographyBlog has a photograph of a grave of a man who died a very violent death.

On a walk in the country today, I came upon this deserted, military gravesite. Very few graves and mostly neglected. These graves are from the war between the Blackfeet tribe and the cavalry over hunting grounds. "Unknown civilian killed by Indians in 1872"

BUCK ROGERS REUNION

Not only is The Hollywood Show hosting a Back to the Future cast reunion, but there's also a Buck Rogers in the 25th Century cast reunion as well! Gil Gerard, Erin Gray and Felix Silla are confirmed to attend. In case you're curious, Felix Silla played the lovable robot TWIKI (but was voiced by Mel Blanc). Personally, I'd rather meet Pamela Hensley who played Princess Ardala. I always had a thing for bad girls.

AMAZING FANTASY #15 ON AUCTION

Marketplace09 has an online auction for Amazing Fantasy #15, the very first appearance of Spider-Man.

This comic is generally regarded as one of Marvel’s top three iconic issues. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, written by Stan Lee and featuring the artistic collaboration of Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko this is the comic that started it all for Spiderman.

Graded at Very Good to Very Good Plus, opportunities like this rarely come along, so don’t miss out. This comic can only appreciate in value!

The expert opinion: Cover-wise, there are no pencil marks or stamps visible and it is a cents copy. The front and back covers look tight, flat and retain some gloss. There is some “marbling” or “chipping” to the right side of the front cover and a small lower spine split.

The inside pages, although obviously tanned, are supple and without tears, creases, or ads removed. The staples are firm and the centre pages are well attached and not coming loose. As far as we can see, there is no evidence of any past restoration of this comic.

While every comic collector dreams of owning Action Comics #1, this is the book I'd love to own. The Amazing Spider-Man was the very first super hero comic book I ever read. I was instantly hooked and Spider-Man has been my favorite super hero ever since. This is the story that started it all and made millions of kids believe that good conquers evil,but comes at a hefty price.

RED SONJA TRADING CARDS

Red Sonja is 35 years old. I know, she doesn't look a day over 25. To celebrate Red Sonja's 35th anniversary, Dynamic Forces is releasing the Red Sonja Back to Basics Trading Card Series. Classic images as well as images from the Dynamite Entertainment series will compose the set.

Signed cards will be in every box along with a hand drawn sketch card to enhance the 72 card base set. Plus, randomly inserted chase cards which will included by such artists as Alex Ross, John Romita Sr., Frank Cho, Adam Hughes and many more. The set will also include autograph cards as well as various sub-sets. A special binder is also available.

LOVIN' LIZ BRADY

I've always been a fan of music videos done in one take, with no editing cuts. Here's a Liz Brady video done in one take. To be honest, I can't get enough of her. Her voice is amazing and she's so much fun to watch. I wish I had taken French in high school instead of German so I'd have some idea of what she's singing about. But still, her talent bridges the language barrier. I hope you enjoy her music as much I do.

LINDA HAMILTON IN TERMINATOR SALVATION

Linda Hamilton was in talks to reprise her role as Sarah Connor for the upcoming film, Terminator Salvation. CHUD now confirms that Linda Hamilton will be providing voice over narration at the beginning of the film.

Rumors are still circulating that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making a cameo in the movie.

BACK TO THE FUTURE CAST REUNION

Jumping gigawatts! The Hollywood Show is putting together a Back to the Future cast reunion April 25-26th, 2009 in Burbank, California.

Lea Thompson, Christopher Lloyd, Marc McClure, Jeffery Weissman, Claudia Wells, Deborah Harmon and Courtney Gaines are all confirmed for the reunion. Also, there will be a full-scale DeLorean for photo ops.

As an autograph collector, I've always wanted to go to The Hollywood Show. There's always celebrities I'd love to meet and with the Back to the Future reunion, this could be a one-of-a-kind show.

LITTLE MERMAID REUNION

Disney's The Little Mermaid is a masterpiece and one of my favorite movies. Released in 1989, it's one of the best movies Disney has ever produced, a beautiful, moving story and the last Disney animated film to use hand-painted cels.

Cartoon Brew has a report that ASIFA-Hollywood is organizing a reunion/panel discussion/party to commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Little Mermaid on May 21, 2009 at Woodbury Univeristy

in Burbank, California.

Character animator Tom Sito will moderate a panel consisting of Mark Henn (Ariel), Andreas Deja (King Triton), Ruben Aquino (Ursula), Tina Price (CAPS system and early CGI) and Gary Trousedale (storyboards) - with many more guests and panelists to be announced.

Trivia: Although others had been nominated, The Little Mermaid was the first Disney film to receive an Academy Award since the 1971 movie, Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
