Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid, joins the Disney Dancers on stage to sing "Part of Your World" and "Under the Sea" at the Disneyland Resort on June 11, 2010.

LITTLE MERMAID LIVE-ACTION MODEL

Writer, actress and producer Sherri Stoner served as the body model for Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, as well as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.  She provided impromptu mannerisms of Ariel's lip biting and blowing the hair from her face.  You can watch a video of Sherri modeling for Disney animators.

HISTORICALLY ACCURATE DISNEY PRINCESSES

Artist Ligne Claire created a series of historically accurate Disney Princesses.  Interesting and beautiful, Ligne Claire does research on the years, locations and fashion styles of the characters.  She purposely draws their eyes shut so as not to engage the viewer and to place them in their own world.
