LITTLE MERMAID LIVE-ACTION MODEL

Writer, actress and producer Sherri Stoner served as the body model for Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, as well as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.  She provided impromptu mannerisms of Ariel's lip biting and blowing the hair from her face.  You can watch a video of Sherri modeling for Disney animators.

HISTORICALLY ACCURATE DISNEY PRINCESSES

Artist Ligne Claire created a series of historically accurate Disney Princesses.  Interesting and beautiful, Ligne Claire does research on the years, locations and fashion styles of the characters.  She purposely draws their eyes shut so as not to engage the viewer and to place them in their own world.

TOY STORY IN 3-D

It's been talked about for years and now it looks like Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will finally be released in 3-D October 2, 2009 as a double feature. Beauty and the Beast will follow in 3-D on February 12, 2010. Apparently, Disney has 17 3-D releases coming up through 2012.
