Is the acquisition of Marvel the end of an era for Marvel or Disney or both?

The end of an era for Marvel. I'm very worried about how Disney will control things, possibly dumb the titles down and end the Max line of books.

I guess I never thought about it affecting the titles, I was thinking more about entertainment and theme parks. Hope it doesn't affect things much.
