Marvel has the Japanese Spider-Man TV series online. The first episode of the series sees motorcycle racer Takuya Yamashiro gain the powers of Spider-Man in order to defeat Professor Monster. That's right, Professor Monster.
The series ran from 1978 to 1979, featuring Takuya as a motorcycle racer who witnesses a spaceship crash on earth. He investigates the crash to discover it was being chased by the Iron Cross, an evil organization from outer space. He meets a survivor from the Spider Planet who gives him the power to become Spider-Man.
A new episode premieres every Thursday at on the Marvel website.I have to say, watching Spidey fight ninjas and giant robots sounds a lot better sitting through Spider-Man 3 again.
