Based on Mark Millar's comic book, Kick-Ass is the story of an average teenager who decides to become a superhero. The only problem is, he has no superpowers.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the comic book is online earlier than expected. Starring Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz, the movie is scheduled to open April 16th, 2010.

The first scene is directly from the comic book, which is a good sign. The explicit violence that was shown in the Comic-Con trailer is gone, making this teaser television and theater friendly. The trailer holds a lot of promise. Let's keep our fingers crossed they get it right.
