Vic Damone was a big Frank Sinatra fan growing up. He took voice lessons and while working as an usher, he sang for Perry Como in his dressing room. Como was so impressed, he took Damone under his wing and started his career. Later, Frank Sinatra would say of Damone, "he had the best set of pipes in the business."
